Because a hand-created illustration carries a presence.
It preserves the trace of a gaze, a moment in time, a sensitivity.
It is not just an image, it is a fragment of soul.

2. What do you seek to convey?

A moment of pause and reconnection.
A feeling that lingers, without necessarily needing to be explained.

3. What inspires you on a daily basis?

Small details, silences, light.
What often goes unnoticed.

4. Does living in France influence your work?

Yes, deeply.
There is a way of inhabiting time and observing things here that inspires me every day.

5. Does imperfection have a place in your creations?

Yes.
It is often where true accuracy lies.

6. What does creating represent for you?

A way of existing differently.
And of staying true to my essence.

7. What is your creative process like?

I always begin by drawing on paper with a graphite pencil.
Then comes an initial painted sketch.
Finally, I complete the illustration in Procreate, which allows me to keep my work with me in simple and precious moments of life, such as in a café, a park, a bookstore, or while traveling.
